KAYAK CAMP

Kayak Camp is the newest addition to the fun activities at Discovery Green.

What you need to know:

• Kayak Camp is for children and young teens ages  5 to 16
• The camp is broken into two stages.
  • Stage 1: Safety and Instruction
  • Stage 2: Supervised Paddling
• Upon completion of stage 1 the children and young teens will get the opportunity to pilot one of the safe sit on top kayaks all by themselves on the model boat basin with close supervision.
• Children must be signed in by a parent or guardian, no exceptions.
• The participants will have the opportunity to paddle a solo kayak or a tandem kayak with a friend.
• The Cost is only $5 per person.
• The boat basin has excellent seating for parents to watch their children and capture that amazing memory.

Hours of Operation:

• Kayak Camp will be at Discovery Green on:
• Sunday, April 1st from 11 am - 5 pm
• Sunday, May 6th from 11am-5pm
• Sunday, June 3rd from 11 am-5 pm
• Sunday, July 1st from 11am-5pm
• NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Just show up and have fun.

Pictures:

• During your ride we will take many pictures of you. These pictures will be available on our website free of charge in the photo gallery section. Feel free to download them and share them with your friends.
