The Highway 6 Parking Lot is the west end of Terry Hershey Park. This is a popular location for cyclists. There is an access point across the street for the Buffalo Bayou Paddling Trail.
PADDLERS: Do not attempt to start at Highway 6 on your own. It is very dangerous trying to transport your kayak or canoe to the access point due to the Highway 6 traffic. Instead park at your ending location and call the Buffalo Bayou Shuttle Service to safely get transported the launch point.
