Houston Arboretum & Nature Center offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and the opportunity to experience the natural world. This 155-acre non-profit urban nature sanctuary provides education about the natural environment to Houstonians of all ages. It plays a vital role in protecting native plants and animals in the heart of the city where development threatens their survival.		Buffalo Bayou ArtPark (BBAP) is an artists-run non-profit organization that places temporary public art in open spaces across Houston and Harris County.		Established in 1964, the Houston Canoe Club's members are interested in all types of paddlesport from canoeing to kayaking, quietwater, whitewater, touring and racing. We do it all and have fun doing it.
		Kayaking in Houston Meetup Group This meetup group has everything from beginner classes to expert trips. Happy paddlers from around the area work together to make this meetup a success!
